This is a study of how the children's charity, Barnardo's, has approached the issue of ensuring equality of opportunity for its employees. Written from the standpoint of a Barnado's worker, the book explores current policy developments within a "learning organization" and relates these to the perceptions of its workforce of how they are valued by the organization.
