Sigh signed to Cacophonous for second album "Infidel Art", in 1995. Recorded in Tokyo, it took influences from film scores, free jazz and classical music. The band focused on obscure Japanese occult rituals and death worship, accompanied by eclectic melodies. Initially met with puzzlement upon its release, the album is truly the forerunner of avant garde Black Metal as we know it today. 2016’s re-issue once again features a revamped version of Utagawa Hiroshige's 19th century masterpiece 'Taira no Kiyomori kai-i o miru zu', re-mastered audio and bonus studio material, from Danny B at HVR.
