Shortt, the Religion Editor of the "TLS", looks at the shameful media silence of our era, the murder, oppression and persecution of Christians around the world. Young Christians don't become radicalised and persecuted Christians tend not to respond with violence. But Christians are persecuted in greater numbers than any other global religious body. Shortt aims to counter the weight of column inches being spend on the persecution of Islam, and to turn up the volume on the side of the Christians rather than atheists.
