Tips & Tricks: Trauma Management examines the complete process of trauma care. The book begins with an introduction to the basic concepts of trauma management and the trauma care system. The different stages of the "journey" are then described, from management at the site of the occurrence of the trauma, to during transportation and arrival at hospital.

Separate chapters examine trauma management for specific types of injury, as well as care for different age groups; and rehabilitation.
