No Evil Star collects the best of Anne Sexton's prose and traces her development as a literary artist. Beginning with Sexton's experiences in Robert Lowell's classroom at Boston University in 1958 and closing with a 1974 interview in which, now the acclaimed poet, discusses teaching her own students the craft of poetry.
