Classroom Assessment Casebook presents concise cases developed from actual teacher experiences for students to consider a range of assessment-related issues in K-12 settings.  The book is organized around four topics: foundational issues of assessment, informal assessment, formal assessment, and communication of assessment results.  Each case is accompanied by questions to encourage class discussion of potential resolutions and relevance to other issues and an assignment for students to apply what they’ve read and discussed.
