In a medieval world where magic and dragons exist, a teenage girl and a prince on the run cross paths on their adventures and find themselves falling in love.

15 year-old Rose was forced to run from her family to find safety from the cruel and conceited sheriff who believes his rightful place is on the throne. The sheriff's men have tracked down and beaten Prince Rowan when Rose finds him and heals his wounds.
