The Soft X-Ray Cosmos Rosat Science Symposium : Proceedings of the Symposium held in College Park, MD, November 1993
This text illuminates the results obtained from the ROSAT, or Rontgen Satellite, since its launch in 1990. ROSAT has made discoveries that span both the spectrum of objects encompassed by X-ray astronomy and the cosmic distance scale. The topics covered range in size from pulsars to clusters of galaxies, and in distance from the solar neighbourhood to the highest measured redshifts.
