Grappling with the constraints and opportunities the US Army faces in designing policy and strategic options for the post-INF era, the contributors to this book outline the current strategic posture of the army, the challenges of the future and the steps needed to meet those challenges. The book is the outgrowth of a workshop held to address issues raised by the US Army chief of staff.
