These poems represent the growing pains of life which has created the pearl I am today. Though many of us are afraid to be who we are; emotional intelligence will set those of us trapped free. There are some things in life that we know we should do. The question is: whether we have the courage to confront them. I have learned to live each day without carrying the shame of the yesterday or the fear to see tommorow.
