In its preparation, the aim was to produce a convenient, compact and complete book of reference to everything connected with Odd Fellowship, that will instruct and enlighten the reader, lay or otherwise, and furnish him with a comprehensive exposition of its teachings, duties, objects and the wonderful results attained.
