After the success of Morton Greats, published by Breedon Books in 2004, Graeme Ross has delved into the careers of 10 more of Morton Football Club's most celebrated stars. Over the years Morton football club has had its highs and lows. Periodically gracing Scotland's Premier Division, the club is famous as a warm and friendly club that has produced such talents as Joe Jordan and David Hopkin. In 1997 the club was bought by a new owner and came to the brink of extinction before being rescued by Douglas Rae, who has presided over a regeneration that has seen the club move up rapidly from the third division to the second, and challenge for promotion to the first division the very next season. In this second volume Graeme Ross has once again drawn on interviews with players, their friends and relatives, and fans, to record the contribution made by these players to their proud club's history. With players from Stan Seymour (1912-19) to Janne Lindberg (1993-96), the book is sure to be another winner with all fans of the club.
