Abbey lives in the red light district with her prostitute mother. This is a novel about courage and conflict; good verses evil, as Abbey's mother uses many ploys in her attempts to force Abbey into prostitution. Though she's young, vulnerable and frightened, Abbey resists, and dreams of a better life.
