The museum houses the artwork of the great painter, traveler, and scholar of the East Nicholas Roerich. The Institute is dedicated to archaeology in Tibet, and consists of four departments, a Dept. of Archaeology, related sciences and arts, a Dept. of Natural Sciences and applied research, a Research Library, and a Museum.
