As I walked from wall to wall the wheels of the IV rung out a lonesome tune. I kept thinking of Erika. I flirted with her for three months and this is how it ends. I was there and I didn't even know she was dead. I waited outside but I guess now hind sight is twenty-twenty. I don't know what I could have done to prevent it from happening, but I would have liked to know that I tried. I could have got a good look at the guy.
