Designed to assist the reader in the study of Program Evaluation in the Human Services by Robert O. Washington (UPA, 1980), this volume facilitates teaching of the evaluative process by familiarizing students with 1) models of evaluation, 2) the basic steps involved in the preparation and implementation of an evaluation strategy, and 3) how the information obtained from the program evaluation assists managers to make decisions about program effectiveness.
