"Jack." She spoke, her words filled with concern and worry, "Are you OK?"
"I'm fine." I croaked, and hurried upstairs, vowing to myself never to tell a soul. Ever.
Jack is no stranger to losses, but as Jack grows into his teens, he starts to isolate himself with pain and dark secrets. Nobody quite understands what he is going through, not even when one of his most painful secrets rises to the surface.
Those who have always cared for him, are starting to slip away, and with them, so is Jack's future. His only hope to escape his misery is to speak out, but as his life turns worse and worse, the chances are becoming slim. He is pushing people away, but inside, he is pleading for saviour. Will somebody be able to evacuate Jack from his dark secrets that he has surrounded himself in, and help him divide his thoughts into reality and fantasy, or is it too little, too late.
