As greenfield development on the fringe of cities becomes more difficult, there is increasing interest in the redevelopment of suburbs.


The book will contribute to the scholarly debate and influence public policy about suburban redevelopment, from the perspective both of public officials and of private developers. The objective of the book is to understand better what motivates private developers to invest in declining suburbs.
