Prepared by Nancy Simpson. Study smarter, not harder! The Gerrig/Zimbardo Grade Aid helps students navigate the introductory psychology course by presenting material in a format designed to enhance study efficiency. For each chapter, the Grade Aid contains:
- Before You Read sections, short summaries that give students an overview and help them understand the organization.
- Chapter Objectives that highlight the major points of what students should learn from each chapter.
- As You Read sections that include a list of key terms and a collection of exercises designed to engage students in the active learning process. These exercises include tables to be completed, short answer, and essay questions.
- After You Read sections that include a collection of practice tests designed to be taken after reading and reviewing sections of the chapter. The final practice test is comprehensive.
- When You Are Finished sections, which include web links and crossword puzzles designed to test student knowledge in a fun way.
