A collection of two- and three-dimensional studies describing an architecture and urbanism which proceeds from the idea of "field" or "ground" as the basis for radical architecture. The text collects together studies from the former Eastern bloc states and gives a critical view of contemporary urban ideas, pointing to a more conceptual based architecture.
