Swedish Business History in Russian 1850-1917
Swedish business history has lacked its eastern dimension for a number of generations. During the latter part of the 19th century until the revolution in 1917, Russia was one of the most important markets for Swedish industry, and one of Sweden´s most important suppliers of raw materials. This report gives an introduction to a largely unknown aspect of the economic history of the Baltic region.
