Preparing recipes for petfood requires knowledge of the animal's requirements at different life stages. Petfood is formulated to extend the animal's quality of life for as long as possible. Thus, the damaging effects of the environment, the natural processes of ageing, are various targets in petfood research. This book describes this research.
