Advances in Natural Gas: Formation, Processing, and Applications is a comprehensive eight-volume set of books that discusses in detail the theoretical basics and practical methods of various aspects of natural gas from exploration and extraction, to synthesizing, processing and purifying, producing valuable chemicals and energy. The volumes introduce transportation and storage challenges as well as hydrates formation, extraction, and prevention. Volume 6 titled Natural Gas Transportation and Storage is separated into three sections. The first section discusses different natural gas transportation technologies (such as LNG, CNG, ANG, etc.). The second section introduces related apparatus for natural gas transportation and storage, including leak detection techniques, compressors, pumps, and cold energy recovery system. The last section explains challenges of natural gas transmission including inhibition of pipeline corrosion and wax deposition, pipeline cleaning challenges, accompanied with Modelling and simulation of multiphase high-pressure natural gas release from pipelines.
