In The Happiness Wall, a group of students from Mercy Secondary School Mounthawke in Tralee, Co Kerry bring together a collection of doodles and drawings from students and well-known Irish celebrities of things that make them happy. The idea came from a school project where the group of students called Emotion Promotion, wanted to raise awareness of Youth Mental Health. They asked all the students of their school to draw a picture of something that made them happy. They stuck these pictures on a wall in the school canteen. And so The Happiness Wall was created. Here in The Happiness Wall, the book, a host of celebrities have contributed drawings and doodles of family; friends; pets; a place; a memory; a favourite song ...anything at all that makes them happy. With pictures and descriptions, this is a book bound to bring a smile to your face. All royalties are in aid of Headstrong: The National Centre for Youth Mental Health, which promotes mental health awareness in young people.
