The present manual is a revision of a much smaller one entitled "Church Music in the Light of the Motu Proprio." This second edition is the result of much thought and further study on the subject of church music since that time, and consequently is more complete. It is to be hoped that choirmasters, organists, priests, seminarians and all others interested in the subject will welcome this revised and more extensive work and will find in it much needed information.
