Ivo Pogorelich’s first full Chopin studio recording in over 20 years. Chopin is the composer with which Pogorelich started his recording career in 1981. His debut became an instant bestseller. It was the year after the scandal at the International Chopin Piano Competition Warsaw, where Pogorelich was eliminated before the final round and Martha Argerich left the jury in protest.
