Theologizing in an Insurgent Key - Violence, Women, Salvation
What the author argues in this work is that violence against women today requires a rethinking of salvation. Yet, to make this case necessitates an understanding of violence against women in its particularity without which the author's argument, at best, will only limp along, falling flat, or remain an exercise in abstraction. The urgency of rethinking salvation only comes into view with an understanding of the particularities and specificities of violence against women to which this work now turns. The particularities shed light on and clarify why this project matters and is urgent.
