As economies falter across the developed world, unrest and instability spread like a wild fire. Money becomes so tight, for the armed forces difficult and dangerous tasks become impossible, the decision is made to 'bring the boys home'. Against a back drop of disaters and near disasters there is just one chance to achieve this. As it is an all or nothing situation all the limited rescources of the U.Ks armed forces are deployed, failure is not an option, the operation has to succeed, the effect of this deployment is the country is effectively left undefended for a short time, with serious consequences. All the time someone is running interference, the motives are unclear, but greed seems to be the major motivation, more than just an insaitiable appetite for cash, the real desire was for power. Identifying the problem and those behind it was one thing, what to do about those responsible was another matter' but somehow they had to be stopped. Ulitimately this became deeply personal for the commander of 'The All Arms Unit' on whom the task of sorting it out had fallen. Questions were also being asked, had he become too ruthless?
