Yevgeniy Petrov (born in Severodvinsk 1973) is both composer and performer. In 1996 he graduated from the St Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire in the bayan discipline (claa of M. P. Filippov and professor O. M. Sharov) and in 2001 — as a composer (class of professor Yu. A. Falik). Yevgeniy Petrov is the author of the compositions for symphony orchestra, for the Russian folk instruments' orchestra, for choir, for brass-quintet, French-horns quartet and other kinds of ensembles, so as for various instruments solo. The music by Yevgeniy Petrov is used to be performed at all sorts of music festivals.
