The Practice of Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography provides over 100 teaching cases ranging from the most common to the most challenging. The cases are organized to cover the gamut of clinical challenges faced by perioperative echocardiographers, including disorders of the aorta, left ventricle, and right ventricle, valvular heart disease, congenital heart lesions, catheter and device placement, and unsuspected masses and thrombi.
