Cuban Studies has an established tradition of publishing excellent scholarship across a wide range of disciplines and specialties. A special section on women in Cuban history forms the centerpiece of this volume, with articles that explore women's roles as political actors, as symbols, and in religion. The Archives section contains an overview of the growing resources for the study of Cuba available in Miami's libraries.
