Sorghum is an important world crop, used for food, fodder, the production of alcoholic beverages, as well as biofuels. This book presents current research in the study of the cultivation, varieties and uses of sorghum. Topics discussed include sweet sorghum as an energy crop; tolerance to aluminum and nutrient stress in sorghum cultivation and the biological activities of sorghum extract and its effect on antibiotic resistance.
