The Paznaun stretches out in the extreme west of North Tyrol. The valley includes the Trisanna valley and its side valleys between Pians and Landeck. It is bordered by the Bielerhoehe, the Verwall Group and the Silvretta. The multifaceted nature includes rugged cliffs as well as lush alpine pastures and quiet mountain lakes with thundering waterfalls.
