I decided to write this book because for some unknown reason, many of my friends on and off the Internet have constantly asked me to put my words on paper. They seem to think I have led a very varied life. Maybe I have! Maybe I have been lucky! Either way, I come from very humble beginnings; this book hopefully proves that you don't have to have brains, or be born with a silver spoon in your mouth to get on with people of all levels. When fate steps in, you just go with the flow and handle it as best you can...I have called this book 'Links and Chains', because the link begins with two young Alcester people who have a real passion for their home town and all who live there. In this book I share with you some of my experiences and I hope that you enjoy reading about them!
