The author lived 31 years overseas as a medical specialist professor, church planter, Bible translator, Bible Institute teacher, and radio and TV broadcaster. He addresses three challenges in missions - (1) persecution of Christians and (2) mission finances, (3)avoiding dependency while promoting partnership. The author challenges the reader to approach both issues biblically.
