This book discusses the Livestock Revolution which is occurring in some developing countries and is foreseen to become a wider phenomenon over the next 20 years, due to increases in population, urbanisation and incomes. As a result, a gigantic increase in demand for meat and milk is predicted. The many implications for animal agriculture in developing countries, and globally, are considered.
