In book 3 of Flin's Destiny and "The Earth Time Continuum," Raggleroot, an angry old man who has been imprisoned deep into the earth due to Flin's great grandfather, Hovgard, is determined to destroy the cathedral and all those in it with his deranged pits and seeds he has been engineering for decades.
