The Unknown is a science-fiction action-adventure story created by award-winning visual effects artist Alp Altiner known for his concept art, matte painting and 3-D art in film, commercials and video games. The Art of the Unknown covers the 2-D and 3-D creations for the story as well as collectible toys and art tutorials by Alp. In addition to Alps concepts, the book includes the characters, environments, creatures, vehicles, and much more created by over 30 additional invited artists. Alp has been working in the entertainment field for over nine years and has recently worked on Spider-Man 3, Superman Returns, X-Men: The Last Stand, Frank Millers 300, and Aeon Flux just to name a few.
