ICONT 2011 is an international forum which covers new developments and activities in process technologies, devices, machine, tools/instruments, characterization techniques and
metrology in the nanotechnology field with the aim of attracting delegates from various sectors to be involved in the research and development of nanotechnology. It is a meeting point for researchers, scientists, engineers, technologists and technopreneurs from all cultures and continents. With a theme of “Nanotechnology for Sustainability and Growth”, this conference brings together scientists who play a central role in the development of nanoscience and technology from every sector of academia and industry. The conference aims to develop critical assessment of existing work and future directions in nanotechnology research. It serves to provide a communication stage for Malaysian scientists working in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology with their counterparts
from Asian and the rest of the world. The conference is expected to create effective networking and to promote interdisciplinary collaborations among the research institutes,
universities and the industries that would contribute to the rapid progress in nanotechnology research.
