Zolotoi petusok = Golden cockerel : klavir = piano score
The Golden Cockerel” is the last opera of N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov, written according to the tale of A. S. Pushkin, one of the composer's highest creative achievements. From the day of the premiere in 1909, after the death of the composer (on which the great A. Nezhdanova performed the part of the Shemakhan queen), the opera has been included in the compulsory education programs for vocalists, composers, conductors, directors, and musicologists.
The proposed publication is edited by a doctor of art history, one of the most respected researchers of Russian opera music, Professor E. A. Ruchevskaya.
The publication meets international standards for opera claviers, is equipped with a Latin transliteration of the Russian text, which will allow foreign singers to perform opera in the original language.
