Gender Equality in European Contract Law
This text discusses the gender mainstreaming strategy and the ban on sex discrimination (direct and indirect discrimination, harassment and sexual harassment) in relation to European contract law. It undertakes an analysis of gender-related problems in existing EU contract law and puts the current debate on improvement of European contract law into a gender perspective. The book draws on the experience gained in the field of employment, in particular in respect of the basic concepts and methods; but as regards substantive law, its focus is on matters othern than employment and occupation.
