We have been busy re-purposing much of our material for use in this guide, so even if you have already seen it in our online magazine, quarterly publications or anywhere else, look again, because you will have a chance to see it one more time, all scrubbed up and with a fresh face on.

We also have volumes of material that, for editorial reasons, ended up on the cutting room floor. The decision to not use material is always difficult, and in spite of the fact that it wasn't chosen the first time around, much of this left out material is first rate and print-worthy. To that end, we are adding the best of these `cut articles' to New Heroes & Pioneers HANDBOOK TO EXTRAORDINARY CULTURE along with a good portion of specially developed, original material.
