Gine Neo enjoys weekly Sunday morning walks with his family. Over the last year, they have visited the various neighbourhoods in Singapore, exploring the many nooks and crannies on foot. In the process, they discovered many charming and delightful street scenes that one does not see while travelling on public transport. Singapore is a city that is constantly evolving. On revisiting some of these places, they found that some areas had been redeveloped in the name of progress. Dancing Streets is the author's contribution to document slices of Singapore's built environment and architecture, in the way he knows best, by drawing and sketching. While this is an activity book, the author hopes that besides having fun colouring his illustrations, the images will inspire readers to actually go down and visit these places and discover more of Singapore themselves.
