This lush oak-wooded steep-sided river gorge, with its fascinating history and many legends, can be explored through a variety of short or long walks. See the spectacular White Lady Waterfall, pass over the tumbling water at Tunnel Falls and watch the river bubble in the Devil's Cauldron. There's an abundance of wildlife to spot, including woodland birds, dragonflies darting above the river and trout swimming in the quieter stretches. A walk along a disused railway line will lead you to the bird hide; and you can enjoy a picnic in the orchard area or Pixie Glen.
