The 2020 Vision of Air Transportation: Emerging Issues and Innovative Solutions is a collection of papers presented at the 26th International Air Transportation Conference held June 19-21, 2000 in San Francisco, California. These papers cover a variety of issues related to the planning, design, construction, operation, management, and maintenance of airports. The topics include landside, terminal, and airfield related issues, on a range of subjects such as pavement design; pavement materials; construction methods; environmental, operations, and planning concerns; and implications of future aircraft.
