Excavations on Medieval Sites in Milton Keynes
Between 1971 and 1991 archaeological excavation and fieldwork was carried out in advance of the development of the new town of Milton Keynes. This volume presents the results of seven excavations and five watching briefs conducted by the Milton Keynes Archaeology Unit. These include: Bradwell Bury; Walton village earthworks; St Michael's church, Walton; Willen moat and village earthworks; Woughton village earthworks; Holy Trinity church, Little Woolstone; Simpson barn. Site reports include historical backgrounds, details of excavations and analysis of finds.
