Glenda Cookie Myles is a native of Southern California. A couple of years ago, Cookie, her family, and her menagerie of pets moved from Rosamond, California ( A very small town in the Antelope Valley ) to Las Vegas, Nevada. When asked, "Where do you get the inspiration for your poetry?" Cookie replied, "From life. Each of my poems is based on something I have experienced, felt, seen, or heard.
