Fundamentals and Applications of Microfluidics and Nanofluidics in Energy and Biomedical Studies
Recent developments of micro- and nanoscale manufacturing techniques lead to design and fabrication of various micron and submicron fluidic devices in various branches of science and technology. Precise manipulation of these nanofluidic processes is key to the operation and performance of micro- and nano-systems.This will be the first book that systematically reviews electrokinetic nanofluidic processes and introduces novel and pioneering applications of microfluidics and nanofluidics for biomedical and energy systems. A hybrid atomistic/continuum numerical method will also be introduced, which is considerably faster, more accurate and more efficient compare with its counterparts.
