Blind Partners: American and Japanese Responses to an Unknown Future
The volume, the result of a conference sponsored by the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars and the National Institute for Research Advancement, examines religious and intellectual foundations of the American and Japanese cultures, as well as social, political, economic and scientific dimensions of the two nations. The result was the beginning of a dialogue that will have long-term implications for a clearer understanding of how the United States and Japan can better relate to each other and to the problems facing the world. Co-published with the Woodrow Wilson Center for Scholars and simultaneously published in Japanese.
