Under the Irish Sea, fifteen or sixteen miles south-west of the Calf, there is an enchanted isle. Long, long ago it was on the surface of the water - that was in the days when Manannan ruled Mann - but when Saint Patrick drove Manannan and his men from the island in the form of three-legged creatures, they came upon this isle.
